USUA (United States Ultralight Association)Ultralight Pilot Requirements

"Quote from FAR Part 103"
                                   "Operators of ultralight vehicles are not required
                                       to meet any aeronautical knowledge, age or
                                       experience requirements to operate those
                                       vehicles or to have airman or medical
                                       certificates."

The USUA program is a voluntary  program to promote safety in the ultralight community.
There is no requirement to join USUA.
